LOVED this book, couldn't put it down. My favorite quotes are "sometimes it's not what we hold on to that shapes our lives-it's what we're willing to let go of." So true....too often we get so caught up in things that people say or do that we forget to forgive and move on, it's a lot harder to do.
ReplyDeleteI also like the part when she remembers her mom telling her not to tie her own happiness onto someone else's kite - so true too - why should somebody else's bad choices change our happiness, take charge! I can't help but feel sorry for her mom, poor lady and love the grandma! It's a book that makes one remember to be kind, even to those that are not kind to us - who knows what their stories are :-)
