I enjoyed the book. I was surprised to find that the "beautiful creatures" are us lowly humans. I kind of wished that the end of the book had revealed that Ethan actually did have powers too and that his dad was just his guardian. There are so many loose ends that I look forward to reading the next book. I also wish that Lena had just gone ahead and claimed the light as that would have taken care of the 3 she killed and Macon would have died anyway and then there wouldn't be a "17 moons" problem either - which was kind of a corny "I know what you did last summer" kind of ending. Good read :-)
